World youth wildlife summit 2019

During the period 18 September to 22 September 2019 five of our learners will be attending a summit on the protection of wildlife, in particular the famous African Rhinoceros. It gives us great pleasure to announce that five of our FET learners have been granted this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent our school at this world-class event which will be attended by delegates from across the globe.

They are Asemahle Dyantyi, Lisakhanya Sadina, Anesipho Nkonki, Ayola Maneli and Sinivuyo. At the summit they will have the opportunity to brainstorm around and come up with much-needed answers for critical issues such as rhino poaching, habitat loss and responsible use of wildlife resources.

Be sure to be on the look-out for them in the next issue of the National Geographic magazine!
