Motivation for a Drug Free Tomorrow

Motivational Speaking – Mr Malibongwe Joka

On the 22nd of February the learners from grade 8 to 12 were visited by Malibongwe Joka a motivational speaker from The Department of Justice in Middleburg.

He touched on very serious issues that the youth are facing today, especially those that are still in school. He touched on drug and alcohol abuse and how it affects us from a very young age and how drugs would destroy your dreams. The session was very educational and motivational at the same time.

The learners who attend learned valuable information and we would like to thank Mr Malibongwe Joka for taking the time to motive our students and faculty.

Rhino Arts

On the 20th of February the school had a Rhino’s Arts Competition. The learners decorated and submitted their Rhino anti-poaching posters and the posters were judged by the group from Amakhala Game Reserve. In the poster you had to use your imagination and decorate it however you was your rhino fantasy to be like, the learners also wrote small messages about the rhinos in the posters. The winners of the competition received different gifts from Amakhala group.

Congratulations to all our winners.
