PRINCIPAL’ S MESSAGE- 2021 ACADEMIC YEAR

Welcome Back to the new school!

I hope you enjoyed a wonderful summer vacation. I also hope you were well rested, relaxed, recharged, and ready to start a new school year. I am so delighted that you are part of our amazing learning community.

Together we have navigated new terrains of uncharted water in the past year, and God’s grace has spared us of the ravaging pandemic gripping the world. We remain awed of the COVID-19 and its deadly impact, your safety above all else is remain our priority. I wish to welcome the new cohort in Grade R and 8 and everyone else who is new to this wonderful institution.
I welcome and value your positive energy and dedication to excellence in education, and I look forward to working with you in this academic year.

All signs point to another incredible and productive school year ahead. Our skilled and devoted staff has already planned and prepared to take you through both curriculum and co-curricula programmes. Our enthusiastic office staff is busy updating our systems to ensure that we have adequate PPEs , ordering needed materials and updating student files. Our hard working and conscientious custodians have spent the entire holiday thoroughly cleaning the facility. And our much-appreciated SGB is gearing up to welcome families, provide volunteer opportunities, and offer other exciting events and programs.

We are indeed a joyous and caring community with the common goals of nurturing responsible, caring learners and promoting high-level learning.

New Staff
Each year brings positive change. This includes a few additions to our staff. We are delighted to welcome sixteen newly appointed EAs and GSA which will make teaching and learning a whole lot easier and exciting. We have assigned EAs to different sections of the school.

Facilities Update

As you are aware of water-crisis in our Municipality we have put in Jojo Tanks to harvest water. I implore you to use this scarce resource sparingly, remember every drop counts. Water is life and we need water more than ever during this time of Covid Pandemic. I also implore you to always adhere to safety protocols. Social distancing remains paramount, that is why bigger classes will be operating on interchanging days’ timetable to accommodate spacing.

Finally, we all enjoy a fulfilling and successful year ahead.
